Nike for me is one of the top sportswear brands. I like it because both of quality and in terms of business are very competent.
ResponderEliminarA level of quality, I mean that the products, both steals, as the shoes or accessories are high quality, and price is affordable.
At company level, I find it very competitive and original. His advertising company are excellent. They use motivational slogans, besides the presence of sports celebrities, that are easily recognized by consumers. It is a company that many countries and products are readily available at any sporting goods store.
I’m totally against of the poor people exploitation and especially of child exploitation. Nike may be is the most recognized brand in its sector and the goal for a company should be to maximize the benefits but never exploiting poor people. Nike installs its factories in 3rd world countries to exploit the labor low cost and to have more profit margin, they make work to children sewing football balls because children have small hands and they sew better than adults. Is inhumane that Nike work force poor children because a child must be playing, studying and having fun. Anywhere worldwide a child should be working!
ResponderEliminarPersonally I think there are things more important that the benefits of a company, if I were the director of Nike and be true that the newspapers said I couldn’t sleep at night!
I think corporate social responsibility is an important factor when considering a company's particular success. Nike fails in this respect as child labour is not acceptable!
